Easy Perfect Corn on the Cob Recipe
Considering how few ingredients go into it, corn on the cob can be tricky to make well. I’ve found a lot of recipes that call for boiling the cobs, leaving the husks on, seasoning the water that are way too fussy and don’t guarantee a fresh, crispy cooked corn on the cob. This recipe is easy to follow, simple to execute, and makes perfect corn on the cob every time.
Ingredients
- Ears of corn
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Butter/margarine
- Pepper
Preparation
- Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil.
- While the water heats, shuck the corn and wash.
- When the water boils, turn off the heat, add the corn and cover for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the corn and dry on paper towel
- Add butter, salt, and pepper to taste and enjoy!
