Ken’s Simple Thai Peanut Sauce Recipe

My friend Ken sent me this tasty, simple recipe for a delicious Thai peanut sauce. Pairs well with noodles, salad, and spring rolls.


  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • ¼ cup water


  1. In a bowl, whisk peanut butter, tamari, sugar, chili sauce, and lime.
  2. Add water a small amount at a time until the sauce is thick but pourable.
  3. Adjust lime, sugar, and chili sauce to taste
  4. If the sauce becomes too thin, add peanut butter; too thick, add water

That’s it! Ken’s simple Thai peanut sauce works well as a salad or noodle topping (even rice!) or dipping sauce for Thai summer rolls.
