Simple Low Sodium Bread Recipe

This recipe for low sodium white bread couldn’t be more simple.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • Water

Directions

  1. Combine flour and yeast in a bowl and whisk.
  2. Add enough water to form a dough ball.
  3. Knead for 5 minutes by machine or 10 minutes by hand.
  4. Let rise for at least one hour.
  5. Shape as desired.
  6. Preheat oven to 350F (176C).
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.

You can modify this recipe by adding a couple of sprays of water during baking to get a crispy crust or add 1 tbsp of olive oil to the dough for a softer loaf.
